WaveLite was created by Chandan Maurya in Bengaluru, India, in 2025. Driven by the lack of truly private messaging solutions that don’t rely on centralized servers, Chandan set out to build a peer-to-peer communication tool where privacy, simplicity, and user freedom come first.
What began as a personal challenge quickly turned into a full-fledged app that empowers users to chat, share files, and even use AI — all without compromising their data.

WaveLite uses WebRTC to establish a peer-to-peer connection. The app exchanges offer/answer SDP using Cloudflare Pages Functions and connects two browsers directly. No account, no login, just fast, private chat.
